Dr. Vladimir Atanasov, from the University of Stuttgart, is a principal investigator in the MEAsureD project. He holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, Germany. His background is in polymer synthesis and membrane preparation. In this project, Dr. Atanasov is responsible for the synthesis and optimization of an ionomer acting as a catalyst binder for HT-PEMFC application. This ionomer needs to be improved and properly incorporated into the catalyst-ink composition. In addition, Dr. Atanasov is partially involved in the reporting, organization and dissemination of the project.
