Dr. Vasiliki Zogali, Senior Chemist (PhD) at Advent Technologies, will be a speaker at the ECOMATES Final Conference 2026 – “Power-to-X for a Sustainable Future”, taking place 6–10 July 2026 at the University of Iceland in Reykjavík.
Hosted by the Marie Skłodowska‑Curie Doctoral Network ECOMATES, the conference brings together researchers, industry experts, and stakeholders to explore the latest advancements in Power‑to‑X technologies, including catalyst innovation, operando characterization, system‑level simulations, and sustainable energy pathways.
Dr. Zogali will present key achievements of the MEAsureD project, an Advent‑led initiative focused on advancing high‑temperature membrane electrode assemblies (HT‑MEAs) for heavy‑duty vehicle applications. The MEAsureD project is designed to enhance HT‑PEM technology through an integrated experimental and modeling approach, aiming to deliver high‑performance, durable, and cost‑effective MEAs capable of operating above 160°C.
With her strong background in polymer synthesis and material qualification, Dr. Zogali plays a central role in evaluating raw materials, developing new polymer systems, and ensuring industry‑level performance standards within MEAsureD. Her contribution to the project highlights Advent’s commitment to innovation in fuel cell technology and its application in sustainable mobility solutions.
